Maryland Youth Practice Improvement Committee


The Maryland Mental Hygiene Administration (MMHA) will implement a two-pronged infrastructure development approach aimed at creating alternatives to the use of seclusion and restraint in the state-operated psychiatric facility system. Along with the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) Core Interventions, MMHA will also implement the Maryland Youth Practice Improvement Committee's (MYPIC) Staff Guide and Training Curriculum for the reduction of seclusion and restraint.
